Lily (Xuan) Chang has practiced acupuncture and Chinese medicine in her private clinic, Lily's TCM Center in Sorrento Valley for the past nine years. Here she treats patients and for a wide array of disorders ranging from pain management, internal disorders, geriatrics, women's health issues and many other conditions caused by body imbalance. The results are exceptional. Lily recently completed a new training series and is concentrating on weight management research and facial rejuvenation projects. This new concentration will help more people live a healthier life.

During the past ten years, Lily also worked for Pfizer (formerly Agouron) Pharmaceuticals and other Biotech companies in La Jolla as a Senior Associate Scientist. Above and beyond her normal research work, she also studied the herbal-drug interaction of 350 Chinese herbs that led to the completion of her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She was awarded a DAOM in September 2006, became the first generation of doctor in this field in this nation.

In the beginning of 1999, Lily joined Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and presently teaches in both the master and doctoral programs on different topics. She concurrently holds a clinical supervisor position.

Prior to moving to San Diego, Lily had been practicing both Eastern and Western Medicine. After five years medical training, she worked for Traditional Chinese Medical hospitals in China since 1983. While treating a variety of disorders for both inpatients and outpatients, she was also involved in the computerized stroke factors analysis for elderly and blood microcirculation research projects. After leaving China and coming to the United States, Lily joined a research team at The University of Pittsburgh for the molecular biology study of the L5 vaccine. As a visiting scientist, she participated the Human Genome and conducted the mapping of chromosome 33, 5q at Dupont Merck and the La Jolla Cancer Research Foundation.

After arriving in San Diego, Lily opened her private clinic Lily's TCM center in Sorrento Valley and has been helping patients achieve a balanced, pain free life.
